San Marino donates to victims of Typhoon Pablo

The San Marino Consulate Office distributed relief goods to 100 families who were devastated by Typhoon Pablo in Monkayo, Compostela Valley on December 13.  The relief operation was in collaboration with Region 5 Manager Eduardo Flores and volunteers from Cebuana Lhuillier.

Typhoon Pablo was one of the most destructive typhoons that hit the Philippines in 2012 with a record of more than 1000 deaths. The villagers of Compostela Valley sought shelter in evacuation centers for several days after their homes were severely damaged by the flood.

Through San Marino’s P15K donation, each family was given a pack of goods containing canned food and other utilities.

The recipients expressed their gratitude to San Marino and Cebuana Lhuillier for helping them in their time of need.
