PJLFI and Y-JAM conduct annual gift-giving in Mt. Banahaw

December 15, 2012 - On its 6th year of bringing cheers and sharing gifts to indigent kids of Mt. Banahaw in Sta. Lucia, Dolores, Quezon,  PJ Lhuilier Foundation,Inc. (PJLFI), along with volunteers from  the In the Navy (ITN) group, champion of the recent PJLI Halloween competition, joined the Young Journalist Association of Mandaluyong (Y-JAM) in their annual Christmas Banahaw outreach. Part of ITN group’s cash prize was used to buy goodies for  80 kids.

Aside from the assorted goodies and various gifts from Phiten and other sponsors, PJLFI Executive Trustee, Atty. Cesar Vidal gave the children their annual aginaldo. The student-members of Y-JAM prepared and facilitated games which were eagerly participated in by the children. Sumptuous snacks were served for everyone.

PJLFI has been supporting Y-JAM in this yearly gift-giving activity as a way of teaching the students the value of sharing, aside from actually bringing joy to the indigent kids of the mysterious mountain
