January 16, 2013 - The Cebuana Lhuillier Insurance Solutions (CLIS), the non-life insurance arm of the PJ Lhuillier Group of Companies, together with motorcar insurer Federal Phoenix Assurance Company (FPAC) Inc. promoted the Compulsory Third Party Liability (CTPL) Insurance in Jam 88.3’s Gearbox segment.
CLIS and FPAC officially sealed their partnership in April 2012 for CTPL Cebuana Kalsadang Kalinga. It is the newest insurance product of CLIS and FPAC available to 4,000,000 car owners in the country through the Cebuana Lhuillier network of over 1,500 branches nationwide.
The CTPL is an insurance cover required in registering vehicles at the Land Transportation Office (LTO). According to CLIS General Manager Jonathan Batangan, “This is the first of its kind in the Philippines.” This will make CTPL issuance fast, convenient, and reliable. Vehicle owners can now renew their CTPL policies conveniently by presenting their previous certificate of coverage, original receipt, and the certificate of registration from the LTO.
As a part of its CTPL promotion, CLIS will also launch this new service in Cebu and Davao. This will include press conferences and radio guestings.
